Siskiyou County Officials comment on Klamath Dam Removal Project

Sheriff Jon Lopey and District 1 Supervisor Jim Cook deliver their comments on the Environmental Impact Report and the Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed dam removal project on the Klamath River.
It is interesting to note that even though they are both elected officials representing the people of Siskiyou county, they had to show up at this public hearing where their comments were filed with comments from other citizens rather than meeting with the California Department of the Interior on an equal "government to government" basis. Someone should tell the DOI that public hearings do not constitute coordination.
